Natural Emerald

Emerald is a form of Beryl and crystallizes in the structure of prismatic crystals,

sometimes vertically striated and terminated by small pyramid-like faces.

Emerald is the oldest of all gems, 4.2 billion years old and is

said to represent the Shakti female universal energy. The subtle energetic

radiations from Emerald protect the heart, the seat of consciousness, from

adverse influence and from radiation of all

kinds. 

Emerald is cooling, and beneficial for the blood and for blood disorders,

for “pitta” aggravation, and heat and liver, and heart conditions.

Emerald is known as a “stone of successful love”. It is said to provide for domestic

bliss and to instill both sensitivity and loyalty within the self and within others. It can

be used to enhance the memory and to stimulate the use of greater mental capacity. 

It helps combine intelligence with discernment, allowing for the choice of “right” action

to be the only choice available. It helps to open, activate and stimulate the heart chakra,

while helping to quiet the emotions.

It is a stone to bring harmony to all aspects of ones life.

It is said to be one of the stones used in the breastplate of the high priest. It is said to

bring beneficial consequences to matters involving legal affairs. It can help to bring

awareness of the unknown to conscious recognition. It is also beneficial in meditation

by maintaining a rhythmic breathing for a deep meditative state.
